The OPW wanted to develop a central office to deliver their Social Welfare Services in one location in Galway.
The importance of their users experience was critical to the design. The booths needed to provide an element of privacy while remaining part of the greater waiting area. We worked closely with the client to develop the perfect design and to fulfil their requirements and needs. Once the design was finalised we worked with the builders to deliver the project in line with the overall Build Project Plan.
The Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton, T.D officially opened the Intro centre in Galway City in November, 2015. The new office provides a full range of Social Welfare services that had previously been provided from five separate offices throughout the city.
